This motel is now included in White Bird Lodge and RV Park. It is so quiet and newly renovated. We stayed for $90 the night before our River Adventures Jet Boat Ride.
Had a great stay here. Barbara was wonderful to talk to, and Kelley was pretty cool too. We were the ones who brought pizza over from Red's. Fully furnished rooms, with a full kitchen and a full bathroom, right by the main way in and out, to and from the big highway.
Came in late but called ahead and the lady waited up for us to get there. The rooms very nice and clean!!
Being a city slicker, I didn’t know what to expect from the White Bird Motel. I can’t begin to say how impressed I am. The cabin I stayed in was gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. Everyone I met was really friendly and the motel is so convenient to the Salmon River and all the outdoor activities available in this area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and if I ever come back to this area, I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here on 8/27 while on a bicycle trip. As it was a very tough ride that day, we didn't arrive until 7:15pm. Fortunately, the motel was open and we got our reserved room for a good price. Note: CASH ONLY as we were forewarned when making the reservation. The room was quite nice and clean and more than adequate for our needs. The lady at the motel advised us to hustle if we wanted dinner as the nearby Red's Kitchen was the only thing open and would close soon. Staying here was a good choice.
This was the greatest place in the cutest little town. Barbara was such a sweet lady and made it so comfortable for us. The cabins are all nice and new. It was very clean and inviting. I am definitely planning another getaway to this place. Wish I could have stayed longer on this trip. Thanks so much to Barbara and I will see you very soon.
Two old guys traveling to Idaho for the first time to jet boat the Snake just happened to stumble on this great little inn. It was 108 Fahrenheit when we arrived so good air conditioning was definitely needed! The White Bird Motel exceeded all of our expectations! Modern, clean, curb appeal and excellent AC! Barbara was great! This motel was truthfully one of the great unplanned delights of our trip to Hell’s Canyon.
Beautiful, extremely affordable $90 a night, the room was so clean it looked brand new! The owner was so incredibly kind to our family, we got into town late due to traveling from Texas and she stayed awake and met us at the office door ready to serve us! Highly recommend staying here for the hospitality and the beautiful scenery !!
